At 20, something snapped. Schizophrenia had derailed her life for the next 40+ years. But there were increasingly rare lucid moments when we could sit and gab over coffee, cake and a cig. Ebi was kind, thoughtful, warm-hearted and generous. She was remarkably lucid in her final days as if this was her last gift to us. Days before she died, we had coffee and embraced. We told her we loved her. She knowingly smiled and waved goodbye. We miss you, Ebi, Di & Tom
